Fire, too close for comfort

When Tim and Sahraa got home from their walk this evening, Tim said there was a fire on the next street over and that he had seen smoke. We went out to our gate and suddenly three fire trucks drove up outside, so it appears the problem was on our block. They started to break down the gate but then scaled the wall, and got their fire hoses out. We never saw a fire, but there was obviously some kind of problem. The trucks are still out there.

This obviously had to be taken surreptitiously (with my big camera and lens!) because of all the police and firemen around. I don’t even know what those buildings are, but don’t think I’m supposed to photograph them, either.
