Every time we drive to the US military base outside the city, I try to capture this very impressive mosque, the largest in Riyadh, usually without much success (in the wrong lane, truck in the way, signs or a big wall blocking it, timing is off, shutter speed too slow, etc.). But the other week I finally got a view that I like, the best I’ll be able to do from a moving car on the highway (despite it being a bit truncated). There is another very striking mosque on the same road, but I still haven’t managed to photograph that one to my satisfaction.
