The Palais Bahia, or Palace of the Favorite, was built by two powerful grand viziers at the end of the 19th century. This will be a relatively short gallery featuring mainly the elaborate ceilings, which were different in every apartment we visited.
This ceiling has designs seen on Moroccan doors all over the country.
