There were several beaches below the Kasbah which we were told are very popular during the summer. It hadn’t dawned on me when we were planning our trip to Morocco that the country was actually on the Atlantic Ocean. Here I thought it would only be a couple of hours from Riyadh – imagine my surprise when on what turned out to be a seven-hour flight, we had to cross the entire African continent! I guess I should have paid more attention in geography class.
