Rabat, Capital City of Morocco

Rabat is the capital of Morocco, and although we only spent a night (more accurately, a very early morning since our flight was so late) and a morning here, we felt is was a very pleasant and livable city. I would love to be posted to Morocco, and wouldn’t mind spending two or three years here at all.

Inside the medina many of the streets, walls and doors are a magnificent hue of blue. Chefchaouen was painted blue by the Jewish refugees who lived there during the 1930's. Is that true for other islamic countries?
