Sakharat al-Fil (Elephant Rock)

The soft red sandstone Sakharat al-Fil, or Elephant Rock, towers 50 meters above the desert floor and is situated 11 kilometers northeast of Al Ula, our destination for the night. I usually don't like people in pictures like this, but here I think the person as well as the car give a sense of scale.
