Fading shadows

There is one more picture I want to take of this complex, but it entails hiking up there around noon (so during work and at the hottest time of the day) when the light is just right. I saw it today when we were headed out of the DQ to a military base and was dying to capture it, but although the driver was stopped right by it, he was on the phone trying to get directions to where we were going (!) and all of the van's doors and windows were locked. We never did manage to get to our destination but instead got hopelessly lost outside of town. Finally we told him to take us home.

The composition is terrific. Love the palm just creeping into the image on the right, and the wonderful sand coloured structure. VV

There is lots to like about this building. You're driver got lost and couldn't find a military base? That's not a good feeling :-(

Excellent capture of this building's details!
Sounds as though you endured quite an adventure today... Hopefully the van was well air conditioned! ;)
