Some landlord names were Ogden in the 60's, Percy Johnson in the 70's and David Hall in the 80's. Cheers, Rich C.

Does anyone know the history of this pub. My grandparents Arthur and Ada Marshall were the licensees here up until about 1919/1920 when my grandfather died and his wife and two boys, Jack and Stan moved up to Leeds. I still have a large salad bowl which was presented to my grandparents on behalf of The Three Crowns B & R.C.on 24th April, 1916. I think this was a bird racing club who used to meet in the upstairs room of the pub every month. If anyone can give me any more details I would be glad to hear from you
