Winter's End ~ April 14 [5]

New London, Minnesota

A canoe glides across New London's Mill Pond past a remaining snow pile during our local Step It Up! 'National Day of Climate Action' demonstration on Saturday, April 14. It was a surprisingly warm, beautiful day--just a few days ago we received 4" of snow. The goal of Step It Up! is to encourage Congress to work towards an 80% reduction in carbon emissions by 80% by 2050.

It looks a little cold for me. :) Great composition with the snow in the foreground and the canoe gliding across the lake.
