Red-Tailed Hawk ~ April 22 [8]

New London, Minnesota

I wish I could tell you I got this close to a wild hawk in nature. Instead this injured Red-Tailed Hawk was on display, courtesty of the Raptor Center, for Earth Day at the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center located outside New London. http://www.prairiewoodselc.org/

Great earth day shot, you would have to be 10 feet from it to be that close, hard to do in Nature. Nice head shot.
