Fire Hydrant - January 19

New London, Minnesota

Thus far it's been a mild year, both for temperatures and snow fall. However some years snowfalls can completely bury the fire hydrants. The pole mounted on the hydrant helps to find them so they can then be dug out.

Good one, at least you got some snow.

Also helps out a doggy in desperate need. Neat use of the isolated color.

What a good idea and nice shot like the color with this shot.

What a great idea. I bet it also keeps the plows from knocking them over. Nice selective coloring in this wintry scene.
