In villages like this, clothing is, well ...can't think of the
proper wording ...something that is considered a luxury, yet just
clothing. You wear whatever you have, you can't be choosy and you
don't go to the mall to shop for more. Still, considering the
options, I think the people here like the brighter colors. Maybe
giving them a bit of contrast to the otherwise earthtoned colors
of the rest of their world. Whatever it is, they definitely lean
towards the brighter, the better.
