Posting 9 of 13 in this SERIES chronicling the life of "The Wounded Buck". "Click" http://www.pbase.com/hankvv/image/153715503 for posting #1, then "Click" "Next" "Next" etc., or hit the right arrow on the keyboard, to view all postings in the order posted.
Thirteen months after being wounded, the Buck seems healthy and strong; however, he is still often seen licking the wound locations as can be seen by the marks on his fur. A small amount of pus was also noted to be still oozing from the exit wound.
The next posting will be another mid-summer image of the Buck, some 18 months after it was wounded.
