This is a summer-time image. Note: the lighter coat of the Buck, the velvet-covered new antlers and a typically skinnier appearance of the Buck. The Buck is also still continuously licking his wounds.

My next posting will be a series of images taken about 13 months after we first found the wounded

Some more fine captures, Hank. What amazes me most, beyond the fact that this fellow has survived the immediate encounter, is how you have been able to continually find him to document the story.
