Presqu'ile Point

This image is made from two shots, #'s 239 & 238. In 239, I focused on the Caterpillar and in 238 I focused on the Grasshopper. I then cloned the in-focus Grasshopper from 238 to 239. Even at f14.0, I couldn't get both in focus in one shot, so I had to improvise. Note the Caterpillar drinking milk from the broken stem of the Milkweed.

Very nice shot of this lovely fat caterpillar, with its buddy! Hopefully this caterpillar metamorphosed in time for the flight south.
