Top image: Young Deer after overnight snow-fall.


A slightly de-saturated copy of the first image of yesterday's posting (see http://www.pbase.com/image/131188567 ) I tried to soften this image a bit as suggested by some of you.

Thank you all for your comments re: my salvaged posting of yesterday. The response was terrific. There were a total of 31 comments and 22 expressed their preference of the three modified images. A few couldn't quite decide and picked two images and some of you provided suggestions and links to enhancing images. A few even went to the trouble of doing some enhancing on one or two of the images and then forwarded those to me via email along with their suggestions. THANK YOU ALL.
The choices expressed for the preferred image were:

9 picked the first image; 7 the second and 6 the third. My wife and I had also picked the first.

Two super images. The buck looks very imposing against that low vegetation and blue sky. You were shooting upwards I think? Love the little doe with her snowy face.
