As I mentioned in the photo I posted to my Macro gallery earlier, I switched modes today. Went from One Shot for Bee Hunting to AI Servo. I am hooked on AI Servo for bee's now. . .
I have a lot more keeper photos.
Oh yeah, got the shutter speed up a bit more too by opening the apeture. I was shooting Bee's yesterday at 1/160 with my 100mm macro (whoops). I am using my trusy monopod, but still.
I have to get my "Meadow Shooting" done and fast. They announced in the paper a few weeks ago that my favorite meadow (across the street from where I work) is going to house a new government building. There are still many places on the Tradeport to shoot nature, just have to work a bit to get there.
It is interesting to walk amongst domesticated plants gone wild, just a wide array of plants that normally surround a house but kept in check by annual pruning. Remove the house, remove the pruning, age 17 years...
You get the picture (well you get the point, the picture is a macro).
