So I am back in the states, back in New England, back home. I missed the bulk of the foliage, all the leaves seem to have turned and fell while I was gone. This is from my back yard this afternoon. I'd intended to step out and drive over to the nearby baseball fields as there are some maples in full swing, but decided to try my luck in the back yard first.

Last night I got the 40D back in my hands and kept with it today. The LX3 is a great small camera for travel, but I am home now.

I broke out the 100mm Macro today too.
