driftwood

Rialto Beach, Olympic Peninsula, Washington

the multitudinous, large scale driftwood is part of the charm here...the views, and the breeze, are also rewarding

this will be the final photo from last month's trip, as local images have recently been largely neglected...perhaps some friends will be motivated to visit the area by these pix, and by the fine posts from Marcia and Neil too

Your low angle of capture contributes nicely to this outstanding composition. Wonderful perspective, clarity and lighting. During my visit there a few years ago we only had one sunny morning and the rest of the time it was cloudy and rainy. So beautiful as conveyed by your excellent image David. VV
