lodge

Lake Crescent Lodge, Olympic Peninsula, Washington

the lodge here, built in 1915, radiates character, and the in-house restaurant looks classy... the room prices are also impressive, very impressive, through the roof in fact....still it is a fabulous location...on a lucky day you can also catch Neil wandering about the place

Charming is the word, and a Neil sighting to boot. But the prices! A lovely shot. V

Still lovely and peaceful as I remember it. Don't recall how much the cost was 50 years ago :) V

The in-house restaurant IS as classy as it looks, as are the menu prices. Mostly I enjoyed the exterior of the building as you have photographed it. It is a marvelously relaxing feeling to sit and dine while looking out to the beautifully serene lake.

Driven by many times but never stopped - perhaps I will now I've seen what a fine old lodge it is, beautifully captured in the dappled sunlight.

Super capture of what looks like a delightful place. Expensive yes, but not compared to the prices we had to pay when traveling in the Gulf.

Looks lovely, if only we could afford it!

You're not kidding David. $277 - $322 is the prices for an "average" room according to a site I just saw. I'd rather enjoy your fine photograph for free. It is a beautiful setting among the trees. Nice to see Neil as well.
