Fire Wave, Valley of Fire SP, Nevada

the forecast had called for a cloudy day, so we all layered up, yet expectations were turned upside down when the sunshine eventually broke through


big thanks to Sam for carrying along his quartz crystal ball...it is a treat to use, yet surprisingly heavy to hold
