over millenia the river has gouged out a deep canyon through this very dry area..the location here is north of Lillooet along the road to the town of Cache Creek

A kind of primitive beauty extant in the parched mountain sides with their washboard ribs, and the line of trees existing along the stream banks. I like the way you have composed the river emerging in the upper part of the frame and exiting at the bottom corner. V
