One of the worst aspect of living in the country is having to put up with the ugly wildlife that infests the place. You can't go
anywhere without being confronted by some revolting-looking bird- honestly it is like a convention of loud shirts.
This male Red-winged Parrot is towards the south-east edge of its distribution.
It regards me with some suspicion from a Silky Oak, Grevillea robusta.
