Boats are lined up along the shore at Sandy Point, ready for a large group of Randolph Macon students taking a course in Environmental Sociology. From this location, participants will paddle upriver around the high tide cycle to explore the freshwater tidal marshes formed at the mouth of Garnetts Creek and visit the proposed intake site of the King William reservoir.
