The pendulum swings

Well it's not a good photo because I couldn't get rid of the shadow and when I did manage it the swinging pendant didn't look as good as in this one so I decided to stick with it. I felt a bit worse for wear this morning after my night out with Irene yesterday. I got up late so no time to grab my usual coffee either so I was like a bear with a sore head until I had coffee inside me about an hour after I arrived in work. It's been a funny day today. We recently had a 'voluntary early release scheme' at work and most of those who volunteered to leave this year (with a package of money) left today. Feels odd to know those desks will be empty tomorrow.

Yep, it swings back and forth. I can definately relate to that idea these days... good shot!

I like it.
And you are left behind as the others go? That is eerie.

That is a rough day at work. But the pendulum swings both ways.

Love the motion and the pendant,Gail. I know how you feel about not getting my daily cup of coffee!

Interesting idea, I like how it turned out.

nice pendant, and nice motion capture. given the long shadow cast, i'm inclined to believe that the light came from above the pendant, rather than directly facing the pendant. if you want to eliminate the shadow, i think you need to add a background light.

too much drinking yesterday huh? :) go easy on it next time.

downsizing is never pleasant... things will definitely feel different, but as with everything else, you'll adjust to it.

Works very well - like Zak my first thoughts were of hypnotism - that will catch anyone trying to look too close!

Neat picture. Hope it's not too depressing with the empty desks...

I AM IN YOUR POWER... (hypnotized)

I thought it was a doughnut!!! That would be neat.. a dangling doughnut. Nice motion pic.

Quite hypnotizing!!!
Ric Yates31-Mar-2005 20:11
Just the right amount of blur to capture the movement!
