24 March
Old singer

Terrible day at work - most of the office got thursday pm off but our office has to be staffed and it was a very busy day. We are spending a couple of days at Jeremy's mothers along with Jeremy's brother and his family. Jeremy had the afternoon of work so he drove up and I got the train. I missed the train I was aiming for because of the ticket queues and by the time I got there this is all I could muster. I have no idea how old this sewing machine is. It's covered in paint spatter but it still works just fine.

Same as Robin, I can remember my mother using one of these - this was in the 70's though!

WOW.
very nice image, not sure what the lighting conditions were but the top of the unit looks like there is too much light in my opinion. if you made the whole thing dark, it would emphasize on the unit's old age. again, just my opinion....very nicely done though

This one brings great memories.... my beloved mum using hers back in the 1940s.

I like how you've closed in on the machine, and deliberatly left parts out of focus... well done
