No rain but....

It was cold but a lovely sunny day with blue skies. I had to go over to the South Bank (of the Thames) so I slung my camera over my shoulder, waved goodbye to the office and off I went with a spring in my step and smile on my face. I took this photo, went to check it on the back of the camera and.... dead battery! At least it wasn't out of focus (wouldn't be the first time).

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel

Giselle - either you are stringing me along or you have a mental block. It's St Paul's - same as last time you asked me, and the time before that...(laugh)!!!!

Nice. We must have been in roughly the same position, only it was dark when I was there....http://www.pbase.com/mike_r/image/38095284

I love the South Bank, Gail, and so am happy you made this. I really must make the effort to grab that beautiful eastern vista of St Paul's and the Gherkin next time I'm up.

I had exactly the same problem with my battery last week!! You got a good shot first time though :-)

Must have been just yards from this one -http://www.pbase.com/vid64/image/38462446. Like I said, different people see different pictures. Nice shot. Don't know how I missed it!

Great photo, Gail. I love the dock in the foreground; the Thames is littered with them. I also like how you so neatly sliced the gherkin.
