Tonight we went to the Barbican to see a film. It was the new Mike Leigh film "Vera Drake". It's a fantastic film but not for the weak at heart - that's me, I nearly fainted. It's a 12 certificate - do not take a 12 year old is my advice.

If it's by Mike Leigh, it must be worth a shot. I like the simplicity here.

The Wife and I are hoping to see Vera Drake this weekend. I am glad to hear that it is as good as the critics say.
