That is almost exactly the shot that I wanted to create of the cat that shares this house a few months ago.
Absolutely could NOT get her to look straight into the camera. So congratulations on both the shot, and the even more remarkable achievement of getting a cat to cooperate.

My first visit to your cats gallery and this picture immediately caught my attention. Amazing composition, sharpness and play with dof. The eye is so intense and piercing. Huge huge vote (sorry that it came almost a year late ;->).
