Final on an extremely cold afternoon with the clearest air and most impressive view in days, making enormous hills and mountains visible in the distance.
After following a very smokey Russian Antonov-12 through the Kabul valley we were cleared to land on runway 29. This An-12 is still on the runway and will vacate by the time we reach the runway.
What a sight...
