It's very interesting to see the different cultures of the world and the type of ceremonial events proceeds. The Malay marriage is a regal affair. The bride and groom are treated as king and queen for a day. There are many stages: pre-meeting, Akad Nikah, Bersanding...etc.
This shot was taken during the ceremonial union of both the bride and groom. Relatives will sprinkle petals, oil and rice on the couple seated on the 'throne'.

Normally I am not to happy for these pictures where you crop out the colours on parts of the picture to catch attention on a main subject - I have done the same a few times in my gallery, so it is also a kind of self critique. But now to the point it seems to work very fine here. EXCELLENT. V.
