Middle Emerald Pool

Zion National Park, Utah

Shaded by the canyon wall. The pool's emerald color was a gift of algae. Unfortunately, tourists persisted in throwing coins into the pool. The metals killed the algae.

The streaking water drops must of been nicely lit by the sun. Nice image.
