How about a bookstore in the oldest gothic church of the Netherlands...
In 2006 the former abbey church of the Dominicans was restored and revitalised as a bookstore. I think they did a wonderful job!
Update: According to British newspaper The Guardian (2008-01-11), this is the most beautiful bookshop in the world...
