We saw a small number of these birds, all in one bush, as we were traveling through Victoria earlier this month. Didn't spot any others the rest of the day. Brewer's Blackbird facts: Most of these birds fly south for the winter, but a small number of Brewer’s Blackbirds fly west – leaving the frigid Canadian prairies for the milder coastal regions of British Columbia and Washington.
