Camouflage: something, i.e. protective colouring, that makes an animal, person, building, etc.
difficult for enemies to see against the background: The tiger's stripes are an effective camouflage
in the jungle.

That's why the females are less colorful..to be able to not be seen in nature when they are nesting. I love the reflections and the crispness to this image. Beautiful work!
