Iran

Ever since I was a little girl I have been fascinated with Persia, and for half my life I've been dreaming about travelling to Iran.
But with the political climate as it was, and more importantly: the unjust picture that we, in the west, are painted of this beautiful
country and its incredibly warm, friendly people, it remained a dream for a long time.

In 2013, with ties between Iran and the west seeming to improve with the election of the new president, Hassan Rouhani, I decided to wait no longer.
In April 2014 my dream finally materialised: I found all I had hoped for, and more.

With this gallery I can only give you a partial insight of what it's like to be a guest in this amazing country, as pictures simply can't describe
the same wonderful feeling you get when you wander around this cradle of civilisation, continuously welcomed as a long-lost relative.
