Vienna is said to be the only national capital with substantial wine production. Mainly white wines, but in the north-eastern part of the city where this image was taken also some reasonably good red wines are grown. This year work in the winyards started early due to the mild winter. These grapevines have already been cut and soon the remaining buds will pullutate.
