Square design

Petronell-Carnuntum, Lower Austria

This was an alternative candidate for last weeks Transglobal Thursday Fun-Challenge "Be square!" (Click here for my own entry and here for a list of other participants). This is the railway station of Petronell-Carnuntum, an (unfortunately not so rare) example of extremely bad design.

Love this! The colors. Very retro. Subway tile never was so bold over here.

Well, Eckhart, I gotta tell you... I'm in the middle of trying to come up with a red and white tablecloth background a client wants as the background of a full van wrap and THIS design is BEAUTIFUL after the BLINDING & TOTALLY OPTICALLY DISORIENTING pattern I'm messing with. LOL

I am looking for new tile ideas to put on the walls of my bath/shower.
This would have made a great challenge entry,
but I don't think this will do in my shower :^)
