Friendly Alien is the nickname of the Kunsthaus Graz, designed by Peter Cook and Colin Fournier, which is the most visible memory of Graz's year as European Capital of Culture in 2003. Situated in the old town with its mostly baroque houses with redbrick rooftiles, it really has something of an alien spaceship. See some more images in my gallery Art Bits
