You don't have to go to the zoo to see a lion in Vienna, you just have to keep your eyes open. Animals are almost everywhere (also see my gallery Viennanimals for more). This is a particularly beautiful specimen, which resides - nomen est omen - in Loewengasse (literally translates "lion street) in the immediate vicinity of Hundertwasserhaus, from the top floor of which this image was taken. There are a few more lions in Loewengasse, try to find them!
