5/19/08 - Monochrome Conversion Tricks

Conversion shenanigans. Convert to B&W & Tint & Burn (darken) the edges. Then - change the shape of the standard tone "Curves" *from* a straight line going from lower left to upper right *to* a v-shape with a bit of a curve in the two segments (upper left to bottom center and back to upper right). This brightens the dark tones (black turns white), leaves the white alone, and brightens/darkens mid-tone areas. Finally erase these B&W conversion and tonal changes from the purple iris for a bit of selective color.
