After very little snow all winter, several inches Easter Sunday night.
Converted a ho-hum lack of color image - just a bit of blue sky and a double yellow line - into a sepia tinted monochrome. Here's the image as shot - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/94768363
Managed to fill the entire tonal range without blocking the shadows nor blowing the highlights. The conversion shows better structure & detail than the color original.
