Month #20 - Retrospective of Daily Photos posted from 5/04 to 12/09 (most viewers for the month)

One of my favorite images using one of my favorite techniques. Here's what I wrote back then when posting this as a daily photo in 12/05 -

A shoot through - a few stems and blossoms between the wide open lens and the subject to give a more "arty", less "documentary" view of a Christmas catcus. I would use a version like this - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/53141864 - for a text book or plant catalog illustration, and a version like today's PAD for an art card. Which do you prefer? Depends on the circumstances.
