5/13/05 - Multiple Exposure (Rotate & Zoom)

Awarded 2nd place - Abstract theme competition, 5/19/05.
6/05 - Hung in a permanent collection at the Joseph Miller Center for Photographic Art
I had just tried a "zoom" multiple exposure - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/43316368 - and a rotate multiple exposure - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/43316369 - so why not the next logical step of a "zoom & rotate simultaneously" version. I don't know why, but it took me a long time to figure out this technique. Now it's time to have fun exploiting it with all of the flowers coming into bloom.
As luck would have it, this morning I got the first bearded iris image that I've liked. http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/43316370 Normally a mortal lock for my PAD choice, but I wanted to continue with my multiple exposure saga.
And, yes, I am a Freeman Patterson fan.

Fascinating technique. This looked liked a colorful astronomical phenomenom from the thumbnail.
