4/27/05 - Tulip Echos

Laying in parking lot on top of a very windy & cold mountain trying to make something out of a small bed of tulips. Used my 70-300 in the 2:1 macro mode to get a little reach since crawling in amongst the tulips wasn't an option. Tony Sweet had an exercise in one of his courses called Echos - so that's what I tried here. Don't ask why a yellow tulip has two red echos - seemed a good idea at the time. I was down on the 70-300 for a while recently - didn't like the image quality. This shot has me rethinking that.
