This is a montage - a layering of two images. Both images were made using a tripod to keep the framing exactly the same between both shots. One image was shot at f32 and 2-stops over exposed. The second was shot wide open, 1-stop overexposed, and slightly out of focus. The two, when combined, provide a soft glowing effect. You'll be seeing a few more roses - I bought them yesterday to counter the snow outside & have to get my money's worth.
