1/13/05 - On Pins & Needles

Crummy picture, but I was testing a new 1.4x teleconverter on my Nikkor 105mm 1:1 micro to see what larger than life size looked like. By the time I got around to this it was dark & I couldn't try the TC on a nature shot. Tomorrow maybe - if the predicted rain, wind, and subsequent cold temps don't get in the way. The TC works great; gives new meaning to "through the eye of a needle".

Interesting macro shot ED. I like the natural low lighting you caught. Nice shot

Excellent close-up. I can't wait to see your outdoor work and to learn more about that lens.
