This great blue heron is on a large dead limb of an oak tree about 30 feet above me. Dense fog with a misty rain - just enough to keep the camera damp but not soaked. I'm taking an online course & this week's assignment is silhouettes and shadows in *bright light*. This will have to do for the silhoutte portion & I know there's a bright light up there somewhere.
