Engineering Marvel

5/06, Honorable Mention, Colored Prints, NVPS (close-up & macro themed competition)
Juried in - Meadowlark Botanical Gardens North American Nature Photo Exhibit

A challenge to get all of the important pieces in focus & exposed properly (using available light). The light breeze was maddening. Several other dew drop "subjects" fell off before I could get set up; finally made it with this one. Who said macro shots were easy?

Some feat of engineering just using those teeny strands.

This reminds me of a compound bow. Nice delicate engineering revealed by the macro world.
