10/04 Honorable mention intermediate color prints, MWCC

I thought I'd spend one more morning with my friend, pretty bird. In about 30 minutes he caught two fish the size of my finger. Slow pickings. Of about 50 shots, I decided on this one rather than another "caught a fish" like yesterday - because it shows his natural habitat nicely.

Got some 3/4 side-lighting today, after the backlit shot yesterday. Better.

I was probably 50 feet away. Having a telezoom helps. Other than that I stood there for the better part of 30 minutes without moving much. He ignored me and went about his fishing. I think he's used to seeing me - this wasn't the first time by far. Needed to change into dry footwear when I finished.
